About Colby Home Services

Originally from Rochester, NY Brian is an experienced building inspector in the Metro Atlanta area. Brian has been performing inspections for over 8 years and has been involved in the construction trades all his life. Using todays technology of infrared I can provide anyone with an accurate inspection of your residential or light commercial property.

Brian is married to Michelle and they have a small dog together named “Colby”. Many clients ask where the business name came from, well it’s evident that I’ve named the company after our dog “Colby”. He is a Schnauzer/Jack Russell mix. Michelle is a Major Account Coordinator for an international material handling corporation.

Brian has performed hundreds of Home Inspections for satisfied customers ranging from new construction, condos to existing homes over 100 years old. I strive to make all my customers happy, whether it’s for Handyman Services or Inspections my quality follows through for any of my services.

I am a member in good standing of the following organizations:

National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI)

International Code Council (ICC)

We are also a subcontractor for "draw" inspections for major nationwide lenders and providers. This service means that we are on both new and existing construction sites completing inspections and progress reports for financial lenders. These reports are all electronic and contain digital photographs of the site and progess of the project.

Inspections are conducted in accordance with NACHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.  Copies of these are provided at the beginning of the inspection and are also available at www.nachi.org. Client participation is encouraged as this is a valuable time for exchange of information between the client and the inspector.
